How Subconscious Beliefs Impact Your Leadership and Entrepreneurship
Your subconscious belief system determines your success as an entrepreneur or a leader. Your beliefs will shape your relationships, finances, confidence, productivity, and even health.
Your beliefs function as filters to your experienced reality. If some information doesn’t align with your subconscious belief system, it doesn’t reach your conscious awareness.
That’s why shifting old limiting beliefs, reinforced by numerous experiences, can be challenging.
How could you notice your subconscious beliefs preventing you from greater success?
Observe your inner resistance. Procrastination, avoidance of certain activities, overthinking, and anxiety are indicators of limiting or contradicting beliefs related to your goals.
Wanting something deeply while holding a contradicting belief doesn’t seem logical. But this contradiction often explains why you haven’t achieved your desired results YET.
Example 1️⃣: If you aspire to create a successful business but remember your grandfather losing everything when a big corporation took over, you might fear the same happening to you. This fear creates resistance to succeeding in business.
Example 2️⃣: If a child in your son’s class feels neglected by a mother running a successful business, you might believe successful women must choose between family and business. Prioritizing family could lead to self-sabotage in your business.
Example 3️⃣: If your father, whose approval you seek, believes all rich people are evil, you might struggle to bring money into your business. You don’t want your father to think you’re evil, causing inner conflict between financial success and seeking your father’s approval.
Understanding the core principles of your Human Operating System makes shifting your limiting beliefs easier. It begins with awareness of your thoughts, emotions, and internal triggers.
